Telling us about a bug
A few details up front make it much easier to track down what you ran into.
- Your device model and operating system version.
- The app version, which you'll find on the Settings screen in the game.
- Which mode you were in: Solo Rush, a co-op board, lanes, Versus, or Practice.
- If it was one specific board, or a board you made yourself, a screenshot helps a lot.
- What you expected to happen, and what happened instead.
Things to try first
- Close the game fully from the App Switcher, then open it again.
- Once the app is live, make sure you're on the latest version from the App Store.
- If a purchase isn't showing up after launch, open the store screen and tap Restore Purchases. Your unlocks are tied to your Apple ID.
- To clear local records and start the score board fresh, use Reset High Scores on the High Scores screen and type reset when it asks.
Common questions
Does it work without an internet connection?
Yes. The whole game runs offline. You don't need an account or a connection to play, save your scores, or set a high score. The only thing that touches the network is making or restoring a purchase, which goes through the App Store.
Which devices does it run on?
Board Together is coming soon to iOS and is built first around shared iPad play. Final device requirements will be listed on the App Store page when the app is live.
Where are my scores and settings kept?
On your iPad, and nowhere else. There's no cloud save. If you delete the app, your scores, settings, and any boards you've made go with it.
Is it free?
Yes. The game is free, there are no ads, and thousands of boards are included. If you want more, there are optional one-time purchases: extra board packs by level, and a bundle that unlocks the extra themes. None of the purchases are needed to play.
How do I get my purchases back on a new iPad?
Open the store screen and tap Restore Purchases while you're signed in to the Apple ID you bought them with. We don't store purchases ourselves, so that's how they come across.
Will there be online play, Game Center, or cloud sync?
Not in the first release. Co-op here means two people on one iPad, sharing the same screen. We may look at online features later in the studio's games, but that isn't what this one is about.
Can I make my own boards?
Yes. You can create boards in the app, and import board files other people share with you. They live on your iPad alongside the rest of your data.
I have a feature request or some feedback.
Please send it. We especially want to hear if a board looked wrong, a correct answer got turned down, or something felt confusing. Write to [email protected].
